CLARIFICATION TEXT REGARDING PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED IN THE CONTACT FORM

This clarification text has been prepared by Cömertler Matbaacılık San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“Cömertler Matbaacılık”), whose details are provided below, in its capacity as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and the Communiqué on Principles and Procedures for Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform.

Cömertler Matbaacılık processes the following personal data of individuals submitting messages through the contact form available in the “Contact” section of its website: subject, name, surname, email address, phone number, and message details. These data are processed for purposes including but not limited to: conducting information security processes, managing communication activities, tracking requests and complaints, providing post-sale support services, managing sales processes, conducting production and operational processes for goods/services, managing customer relationship processes, executing contractual processes, planning and managing compliance with relevant regulations or company procedures for marketing activities of products/services.

The mentioned personal data are processed electronically and automatically, based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the Law, namely:

• Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,
• Processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.
• These data are protected with all necessary technical and administrative measures and may only be shared with authorized public institutions, judicial authorities, or law enforcement upon legal requirements or requests.
• **Your rights regarding your processed personal data, as stated in Article 11 of the Law, include:**
• Requesting information on whether your personal data has been processed, and if so, obtaining relevant details,
• Learning the purpose of data processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
• Knowing the third parties, domestic or abroad, to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• Requesting the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions specified in Article 7 of the Law,
• Requesting notification to third parties to whom the data has been transferred about the correction, deletion, or destruction of your personal data,
• Objecting to any adverse outcomes arising solely from automated systems analyzing your processed data,
• Requesting compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of your personal data.

 

When exercising your rights above, a fee may be charged in accordance with the applicable regulations if the transaction incurs additional costs.

 

You can submit your requests under Article 11 of the Law by using the Application Form available in the Personal Data Protection section on www.comertler.com.tr and sending it via the communication channels listed in the form or by postal service to the company address.
